Good things here

Planned development new town is a well planned township designed to provide a modern living experience. The layout includes wide roads, parks, and designated residential and commercial zones. Infrastructure the area boasts excellent infrastructure including well-maintained roads , reliable electricity and water supply and efficient waste management systems. read more

Things need improvement

The high cost of living and the rapid development in New Town have led to increased property prices, making it more expensive compared to other areas of Kolkata. Additionally, while connectivity is improving, public transport options may still be limited in this area, which can be inconvenient for residents who do not have private vehicles. read more

Good things here

This area is great because it has a good supply of water every day and the power is always on with no outages. Schools and colleges are close by, making it easy for students. The roads are well-maintained, and there are plenty of street lights to keep the streets safe. You can easily find cabs and autos for transportation. The neighborhood is well-developed with many MNCs and engineering colleges around, which adds to the lively atmosphere. There's also a large park where people can relax and enjoy. read more

Things need improvement

Traffic jams are common, especially during peak hours like office time, which can be frustrating. Pollution is also a problem here, affecting the air quality. The public transport system is messy, and the streets are not in great condition. Additionally, there are no hospitals nearby, which could be a concern for emergencies. The drainage system needs improvement to avoid waterlogging and other issues. read more

Good things here

No sacristy of water. Excellent transportation. Totally safe and crime free. Adjacent to the 18-Tala market. Pre-paid electricity meter from HIDCO. Situated just beside Jal Vayu Towers (Army & Navy Society). Excellent road condition and no congestion and water logging. 24x7 Power backup. 6 to 7 good schools are very near to the Society. read more

Things need improvement

There is nothing to dislike about Society in particular. It does not have a swimming pool. I must say that it is an excellent society to live in and the monthly charges are very nominal. read more
