Good things here

There are no crime related incidents in this locality. I feel safe here with my family. Electricity supply is good. Electricity rates are also normal. There is no problem of water shortage. There is a park nearby where lot of greenery all around and we can go for yoga and jogging. Many good tuition institutes are available nearby. School is also nearby where one can go easily. Many supermarkets and grocery stores are just a few steps away from home where all the things are easily available. Many good hospitals are at some distance from home and many vehicles are available to go there. taxi, Public transportation facility is also good. Bus are also easily available. read more

Things need improvement

One has to face a lot of traffic on the main road during morning and evening. There is no good guest house and hotel nearby. The bus service is very less here at night. read more

Good things here

The highlights of this area is easy accessibility to domestic requirements like retailer shops, hospitals, street lights, good water supply, spacious connecting roads with plenty of greenary and lesser traffic jams. It has School/Colleges, Banks, ATMs, Temples, International Airport, Big Bazar, Kolkata Bazar within a few miles. Playground and public parks are well maintained and clean including paid parking services. Electricity supply is good. It's surrounded by beautiful buildings. It's safer and comfortable place for a family and individuals to live alike. Residents are very cheerful and helpful. read more

No metro connectivity makes it difficult and costly to travel hassle free here. Not enough cctv installation in the area is a security lapse. Public toilet and trash cleaner isn't available which can also be a hygeine concern. read more

rajarhat Kolkata though a growing urban hub, has its downsides. the area faces frequent traffic congestion, especially during peak hours, and public transport options are limited. some parts still lack essential infrastructure, such as proper drainage and well-maintained roads. for those commuting to central kolkata, the distance can be inconvenient. while modern, many areas feel isolated due to unfinished projects and spares amenities like schools, markets, and hospital. Our locality is located on the bank of the ocean. The beautiful view of the ocean can be seen from the top of the apartment. And the facilities available here are, good drinking water, schools, hospitals, good transport facility, parks. This place is ideal in the location and the facilities. read more

There is a seepage issue in the society. Rest, there is no other problem in the society. The neighbourhood is home to all the basics, including a restaurant, bus stop, play school, bank, ATM, hospital, gas station, etc. Other features of the project include a children's playground, round-the-clock security, a facility for power backup, and other services. read more

first of all this place have lots of good things like easily accessible for cabs auto and other public transportations. low traffic on night and morning time. and the best thing is hospital, Bank, ATM, local market nearby accessible. nearby residents are very decent and friendly. roads are safe for night for women. street light work properly. Never heard of any crime here. pollution free area and low power cut zone read more

DTC Group is a 40 year old group with business interests in mining, real estate, infrastructure and logistics. DTC has one of the oldest mines in Jharkhand and provides silica sand and china clay raw material to some of the top conglomerates and public sector companies such as Electrosteel Casting Ltd, Aditya Birla Insulator, Tata Metaliks, Hindustan Engineering and Company.

In the real estate vertical, DTC’s first project was a landmark mixed use development project in Central Kolkata in Kankurgachi - Orchid Point and Orchid Towers. Around 1,00,000 sq.ft retail space was constructed which is currently leased to Pantaloon and is one of the largest Pantaloon stores in India. The retail space was completed in a record timespan of 14 months.

After the success of its project in Kankurgachi, DTC launched its flagship project in Joka - DTC SouthernHeights. Spread over 20 acres, DTC has already successfully delivered 900 flats with another 500 flats in delivery in 2023. The project will be a township of 2700+ units with all facilities included within the project. DTC Southern Heights Joka also has one of the largest and iconic clubhouse in South Kolkata spread over 40,000 sq.ft.
