Good things here
No sacristy of water. Excellent transportation. Totally safe and crime free. Adjacent to the 18-Tala market. Pre-paid electricity meter from HIDCO. Situated just beside Jal Vayu Towers (Army & Navy Society). Excellent road condition and no congestion and water logging. 24x7 Power backup. 6 to 7 good schools are very near to the Society. read more

There is nothing to dislike about Society in particular. It does not have a swimming pool. I must say that it is an excellent society to live in and the monthly charges are very nominal. read more

school hospitals and local market are easily accessible at walkable distance Autos cabs and public transport are easily accessible no clogging of water during monsoon season the quality of road is well maintained No frequent power cuts or water shortage faced which makes this place best read more

I lived here in this amazing vibrant atmosphere locality. This place is also known as Solar City of the town. The area is administered by NKDA. Major companies and IT hubs are located in and around this place. You can easily find big shopping malls, zero power cut, cctv cameras, banks, ATMs, public parks, food courts, fitness cares, health clinics and many more. This is beautiful place for spending some good outing time with friends and family. Public transport are well arranged including metro and city buses. It's one of the nicest and beautiful place around Kolkata city. It's extra joy for Bengali people like me to lived here as people nearby are so welcoming here. Nearby police station maintain security of the locality very much to satisfaction level. It is also famous for celebrating grand puja of Lordess Maa Durga. Hot and humid climate can really be annoying. This place also lack small market place so often we have to travel a longer distance. During peak working hours traffic congestion is a common issue. Street lights condition could also improved. Apart from every concerns it's still a nicest place to get some joy and happiness. read more

Newtown Kolkata is a well modern well planned area with excellent infrastructure and regular water with no power cuts. Low crime rates safer to live , street lighting is good even after 9pm. read more

DTC Group is a 40 year old group with business interests in mining, real estate, infrastructure and logistics. DTC has one of the oldest mines in Jharkhand and provides silica sand and china clay raw material to some of the top conglomerates and public sector companies such as Electrosteel Casting Ltd, Aditya Birla Insulator, Tata Metaliks, Hindustan Engineering and Company.
In the real estate vertical, DTC’s first project was a landmark mixed use development project in Central Kolkata in Kankurgachi - Orchid Point and Orchid Towers. Around 1,00,000 sq.ft retail space was constructed which is currently leased to Pantaloon and is one of the largest Pantaloon stores in India. The retail space was completed in a record timespan of 14 months.
After the success of its project in Kankurgachi, DTC launched its flagship project in Joka - DTC SouthernHeights. Spread over 20 acres, DTC has already successfully delivered 900 flats with another 500 flats in delivery in 2023. The project will be a township of 2700+ units with all facilities included within the project. DTC Southern Heights Joka also has one of the largest and iconic clubhouse in South Kolkata spread over 40,000 sq.ft.
