Bhopal is the capital of the State of Madhya Pradesh and also the administrative headquarters for the Bhopal Division and District alike. The coordinates of Bhopal are 23.2599° N, 77.4126° E. Key landmarks include the Bhimbetka Caves, Van Vihar and several dams like the Kolar Dam. Infrastructure and Details Bhopal is home to reputed research and educational institutions including the Master Control Facility of ISRO, AMPRI, BHEL and many other institutions like IIFM, NLIU, AIIMS, SPA, MANIT, IISER and IIIT. The city has a flourishing economy with its main sectors including electrical goods, pharmaceuticals, textiles and automobiles. The Raja Bhoj International Airport is the main airport for the city and State. Bhopal also has the Bhopal Junction and Habibganj railway stations.
