Gorwa is a densely populated residential locality situated in the western part of the city of Vadodara in the Gujarat state of India. It is a major industrial hub of Vadodara and is known for its many large-scale production units. Gorwa is also home to one of the biggest architectural marvels of Vadodara, namely the Sayaji Baug. It has been developed by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation on the banks of the Vishwamitri River and stretches to an area of 96 acres. The town also houses important government offices such as the Office of the Inspector of Motor Vehicles and the Chief Medical Officer. It also has many offices of private and public institutions like banks, insurance companies, retail outlets and medical centers. Gorwa is well-connected to Vadodara by road.
