As a resident of this society, I am very pleased with the living conditions here. The society is exceptionally well-maintained, with waste being collected on time, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment. There is a playground available, providing a great space for children and families to enjoy outdoor activities. The location is also very convenient, with Ola and Uber services easily accessible due to our proximity to the main road. The small size of the society forms a close community, and the people here are friendly and welcoming. read more

Good things here

Everything in this society is great and well maintained as public transport is super convenient with buses, autos, and cabs readily available. Plus, having hospitals and markets nearby is a big plus. Every resident gets their own parking spot, and the garbage collection is always on time. We have 24/7 electricity and water supply, and the community here is really friendly. The lifts are well-maintained, and there are CCTV cameras and security guards always on duty. read more

Things need improvement

There were some construction issues in the past, but thankfully, society has got it sorted out. However, the biggest downside is that there are no amenities like a gym, swimming pool, clubhouse, or not even a garden or play area. read more

Good things here

What I love about this place is the great connectivity. You can easily find public transport like buses, autos, and cabs, and the roads are well-maintained. Having a school, hospital, and market nearby is incredibly convenient. Each resident gets designated parking, and the neighbors are really friendly and always willing to help out. The elevators work well, and it feels safe with CCTV cameras and security guards. Regular garbage collection with proper segregation is another big plus. read more

Things need improvement

On the downside, the society lacks amenities. There isn�t even a garden, which is a bit disappointing. The construction quality isn�t the best either. Other than these issues, everything else is pretty good, and I can't think of anything else that needs improvement. read more

The main attraction of the village is its temple, known as Kottathathu Bhagavathi temple. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga and is a major pilgrimage site in Kerala. The village is also known for its famous Snake Boat Race which takes place during the annual Onam celebration. There are many other small shrines, ponds and other ancient monuments located near the temple. Edakochi also has a small community of fishermen and toddy tappers. The village has many traditional festivals and fairs which are celebrated with much grandeur and fanfare.
