Good things here
Salt lake city is the best city in Kolkata to live a standard life. Here is everything is available great school, hospital, restaurent, park's, malls, and lots of more also here is good roads good transport system and well development mrtro live and amazing infrastructure. read more

The are cancelled feel crowded particularly in residential complexes and some public facilities may not be well maintained affected the overall living experience read more

This is the best place i have ever seen schools hospitals local markets and restaurants are so easily accessible residents are decent autos cabs and public transport are easily accessible street lights are well lit and safe at nights adequate water no electricity issue faced read more

The main things i didn't like about this locality are high traffic within the locality the noise coming from traffic is very irritating also metro stations malls and parks are not easily accessible read more

Good things here
As name suggests Salt Lake is a fabulous place which is being surrounded by beautiful lakes and green parks. It's Kolkata's one of the best locality in terms of amenities such as wide spacious roads, school, colleges, public recreational centres, IT hubs, low power cut, low traffic, nearby malls, open fitness centres and good architect buildings. It's posh and high class gazated area. Cctv cameras are perfectly installed providing top notch security. Connectivity with other part of city is excellent with a nearby metro station, bus stop and railway station. It's mix of urban with traditional touch. It has IT hubs and Technical areas of private and government agencies. Overall experience is too good and wonderful. read more

Traffic jam and often noisy because of over crowding is a serious concern. During monsoon season water logging is reported. Police patrolling is less especially during night. Lesser parking space issue because the area is fully occupied. Despites various challenges it still remains desirable & first choice of people due to it's numerous advantages. read more

The road there is very good and there is no problem for driving. There are schools and hospitals nearby. There is no particular problem with electricity. read more

Although the roads are good, there are many times of traffic jams here. And I heard that someone next door to me had something stolen. So I am careful about safety. read more

Salt Lake City or Bidhannagar is a locality that is adjacent to the city of Kolkata but officially lies in the North 24 Parganas district.
