Ghodbunder Road is a key road that connects both the Eastern and the Western Express highways along with 2 major highways branching out eastwards from Ghodbunder Road. The road is 20 kms long and is close to Thane. Important localities in the area include the Hiranandani Estate, Kasarvadavali, Harware City, Patlipada and Manpada. Ghodbunder road is an important link to the Mumbai mainland, Navi Mumbai and the link upto Kalyan. Ghodbunder Road has become a preferred residential area due to its proximity to both Mumbai and its outskirts and there are as many as 168 new residential projects being made. 55 of these new projects are still under construction.
