Hanumangarh is a leading city in Rajasthan and lies on the River Ghaggar’s banks. It is also called as the Sarasvati River from ancient times and lies roughly 400 km away from New Delhi. It is also the administrative headquarters for the District of Hanumangarh and was once known as Bhatner or Bhatnair owing to its inception in 255 AD by King Bhupat as per legends.
