Rajgurunagar, also known as Khed, has a mix of rural charm and urban development that makes it unique. Located just a bit north of Pune, it’s known for its scenic surroundings, including the Bhama Ask.has a vibrant local market and offers a slower pace of life while still being accessible to Pune's urban amenities. There’s also a lot of history here—Rajgurunagar is named after the freedom fighter. read more
Things need improvement
One common drawback of Rajgurunagar is its limited infrastructure compared to central Pune. The area experiences some traffic congestion, especially on the Pune-Nashik highway, which passes through it.hours. Public transportation options are somewhat limited, and while facilities are improving, things like healthcare centers, shopping complexes, and other urban conveniences can be sparse. read more

Nearly 9–10 super marts are located nearby. And perhaps 20–25 sizable shopping centres. Due to strong police presence, there are almost always both generic and non-generic medications available. The region is also very safe at night because of the area's well-lit streets.

Rajgurunagar is very close to some of the prominent places like Junnar, Kalmodi Dam, and Alandi. There are many shops, supermarkets and vegetable shops to buy everyday needs. Banks, schools and supermarkets are also closer.

The locality has a good environment and people here are friendly too. There are schools, colleges and supermarkets nearby. Residents need not go far for any necessity. There are hospitals, banks and banks within 2-3km.
