There are plenty of PGs or hostels, and both singles and families can find a flat. Due to the proximity of two excellent engineering colleges, Narhe, the neighbourhood is filled with students from all over.

The locality of Narhe is a good one. A government-aided hospital is nearby, Sinhgad Road and Khau Galli can be reached in 15 minutes, and there are vegetable markets and well-developed stores close to it.
