Pushkar is situated in the center-east region of Rajasthan. It is in the distance of 10 km northwest of Ajmer and 150 km southwest of Jaipur. The city has a connected road-rail transportation, the National Highway 58 connects Ajmer city and goes over the Aravalli Range Mountains. The nearest railway station is one in Ajmer.
