This locality is close to two metro routes of the Delhi metro railway corporation. The rental prices are not so high. The limited parking space and traffic congestions are major problems here.

Situated in north-west Delhi, Rohini Sector 17 is a residential sector alongside Bawana Road. It largely comprises builder floors along with few multi-storey residential complexes, namely Muskaan Apartments and Shri Niketan Kunj Apartments. The sector is divided amongst various pockets, and has few industrial entities within its periphery. A major part of the sector is occupied by Shahbad Daulatpur village, while the sector is bordered with Sector 16 and Sector 11.
