Baddi is a major industrial town cum Nagar Parishad within southwestern Solan District in Himachal Pradesh. The town lies on the border with Himachal Pradesh and Haryana amidst the Shivalik Hills. It lies 35 km away from the Solan Town as well. The languages spoken here include Punjabi and Hindi. The area lies at an elevation of 426 meters. The population here was 29,911 people as of the year 2011. The coordinates of the area are 30.9578° N, 76.7914° E. The governing authority of the locality is the Municipal Council Baddi.
