Narayanpet is the district headquarters and the town of Narayanpet in the Indian state of Telangana. It is 167 kilometers from Hyderabad, the state capital, and 62 kilometers from Mahabubnagar. Its coordinates are 16.73°N 77.5°E and the city spreads over an area of about 4.86 square kilometers. The official language of Narayanpet is Telugu. As per the 2011 census, this city has a population of 41,752.
