Living in this society has been quite convenient for me. Its proximity to the main road ensures easy access to transportation options like autos, buses, and cabs, which is particularly helpful for my daily commute. Additionally, having markets, grocery stores, schools, malls, salons, and restaurants nearby adds to the overall convenience of living here. The presence of a metro station nearby is an added bonus. I appreciate the functional street lights that ensure safety at night, and the ample parking space available in the society. The amenities provided, including the gym, swimming pool, club house, park, and play area for kids, are well-maintained and add to the quality of life here. Maintenance in the society is commendable, with timely garbage collection and continuous water and electricity supply. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld, contributing to a pleasant living environment. Any issues that arise are promptly addressed and resolved by the management. I haven't personally encountered any seepage or leakage issues in my flat, which speaks to the quality of construction. The proper ventilation in the flats ensures comfort. Overall, people are friendly and cooperative, and there haven't been any pet-related issues as residents have mutually agreed upon pet-related concerns. read more

Things need improvement

The lack of an operational metro system in Mumbai can be a bit inconvenient for commuting, but luckily, there are other transportation options available. I'm not entirely sure about the nearby schools, which could be a concern for families in the area. One of the issues we face in the society is a slight seepage problem and dampness, which can be quite bothersome. Additionally, the limited availability of visitor parking spots, with only 3 or 4 spots that are often taken, can be frustrating when guests come over. Since I'm not very social with my neighbors, I haven't had the chance to get to know them well. It would be nice to feel more connected to the community, but it's something I'll need to work on. read more

During rainy season the connectivity is not nice as very limited public transportations are available. Water logging issues are faced a lot around the society. No Metro station nearby the society. swimming pool is not provided in the society. read more

Chembur is a suburb of Eastern Mumbai that changed from an industrial suburb to a residential hub over the years since Independence. Chembur is an old and fully developed suburban area located in the Eastern part of Mumbai at a distance of approximately 15km from the central part of the city. The name of this place is believed to have been derived from the Marathi word 'Chimboree' meaning large crab. Chembur was originally on the north-western corner of Trombay Island before the land reclamation project took place. The railway line for Chembur was first opened to passengers in 1924 and was made part of Greater Bombay in 1945. This place also has a history of having hosted refugees after independence and following partition. The growth and gradual development of residential areas occurred after the industrialisation of Trombay during war. Chembur eventually transformed from an industrial suburb to primarily a residential area after the construction of the Township Colony, Shell Colony and Station Colony undertaken by the Bombay Housing Board.
