Bowenpally is a locality in the Indian State of Telangana and within the Hyderabad District, governed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and the Secunderabad Cantonment Board as its planning agency. It is the intersection of the National Highway 7 and 9. The coordinates are 17.4686° N, 78.4811° E. The Old Bowenpally zone comprises of several major localities and you can access the Secunderabad Railway Station from here. New Bowenpally is closer to the city with two zones, namely Chinna Thokatta and Pedda Thokatta. It is right under the cantonment zone with nearby areas like Alwal.
