Malleshwaram, often known as Malleshwara, is an ancient locality and a well-planned neighborhood on Bangalore's northwestern outskirts. It gets its name from the well-known Kaadu Malleswara temple. H. V. Nanjundaiah, the first Vice-Chancellor of Mysore University and acting Dewan of Mysore established the region. It has recently developed a cosmopolitan character in a historically wealthy neighborhood, with multi-story flats replacing numerous big bungalows. There are a large number of middle- and upper-middle-income residences in this area. Popular residential developments are Salarpuria Sattva Luxuria, Brigade Gateway, Renaissance Park, Sampige Apartments, and Tripura Nest. The BMTC city buses connect the neighborhood with other regions. The area offers good public transportation, including Volvo buses and auto-rickshaws. It is also served by the Mantri Square Sampige Road and Mahakavi Kuvempu Road Green Line metro stations. Sampige Road and Margosa Road are the linking roads that connect them to the rest of the city. Malleshwaram is 5 kilometers from Bangalore City Railway Station and 33 kilometers from Kempegowda International Airport. Read More
