The area is surrounded by many of Delhi's natural green spaces, such as 'biodiversity parks, gardens, and urban forests. the site lies along mehrauli-badarpur road, nayi basti road and tigri road. The inner parts of Khanpur are served by devli road, and major commercial activities are located along it. It is a densely populated residential area in the south of New Delhi. It is surrounded by lots of greenery, including parks for biodiversity, Wildlife Sanctuary. It hosts unregulated horizontal residential developments in the form of separate houses and building floors. Khanpur is divided into different blocks and consists of several sub-localities, including Deoli Gaon, Nai Basti and Tigri, Devli, Raju park, and Duggal Colony. Khanpur has a wide reach through roads like Mehrauli Badarpur Road, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, and Guru Ravidas Marg. Frequent bus services and shared taxis are available in the area.
