Good things here

This place is a very nice residential locality and friendly neighborhood. Amberwood international School is nearby and also many other schools are in this area. Best place for famies to rent or own a house. read more

Bank Colony, also known as, Sri Raja Rajeshwari Nagar Colony or S.R.R.Nagar, is a residential neighbourhood in the town of Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located in the northern central part of the city and borders Krishnapuram to the north, BVR Puram to the east, and Gurramguda to the south. The colony is made up of several roads that contain private homes and small businesses. Some of the roads in the neighbourhood are Bank Colony Road, Lift Road, Thimmayya Layout Road, Raja Rajeshwari Layout Road and Raja Rajeshwari Nagar Outer Ring Road. The colony is home to the Nellore District Cooperative Central Bank and its main branch, as well as a post office, several banks and ATM's, and various government offices. There is also a general hospital, Sri Venkateshwara Nursing Home, in the area. The colony has its own police station, as well as several schools, including the Checkers High School, Sri Raja Rajeshwari High School and DVM High School. It is also home to the Sri Raja Rajeshwari temple, which is popular among the locals. The area is well connected to other parts of the city by public transportation, including buses and auto-rickshaws.
