Vengalayapalem is a gram panchayat which is 9km away from Guntur city centre. It is a peaceful place in the outskirts of the Guntur. MBTS polytechnic college, Loyola Public School are the landmarks for this village. It is a link road connecting both Guntur-Hyderabad and Guntur-Chennai highways. There were good developments like construction activities, laying of cement roads and drainages, street lights, etc during the previous government as this village is also part of the Amaravati (CRDA Master Plan). After the government change in 2019 the developments were not so progressive. It is a proposed industrial and residential zone of the CRDA Master Plan. People prefer going to Guntur for any important works, good schools, colleges and hospitals as it is hardly 20 min drive due to less traffic. In the past, local city buses used to ply in this village which was later discontinued. However, number of autos are available which makes the conveyance to the city easier. The village centre is hardly 1.5 km far from the Hyderabad highway from where number of RTC buses are available to Guntur city. Ola and Rapido service is available in this village. Unless it is midnight, rest of the day Ola and Rapido autos are available as well. Cabs are very less though. Vengalayapalem has a Village Secretariat and PHC. Swayambu Pushpadri Sri Narasimha Swamy temple and Sri Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy temple are popular. Lakshmi Narasimhapuram is a decent locality. Some highlights, a. Less pollution b.
