Patna, with its ancient name Pataliputra, is the capital state of Bihar. It is 470 km towards the northwestern part of Kolkata. It is one of the oldest cities, known as Azimabad, during the Mughal age. Patna is the center of pilgrimage places of Rajgir, Nalanda, Bodh Gaya, Pawapuri, and Vaishali.
