Naini (also known as Naini Industrial Area) is a satellite neighborhood and a twin city of Allahabad, India. It was established as the chief industrial area of the city. The area is located on the banks of River Yamuna, opposite Allahabad City. To the north, across the Ganges, is Jhunsi, which is a part of Allahabad itself. Naini is connected to Allahabad via 2 bridges over the river Yamuna. The older one, Old Naini Bridge is a 2 lane bridge. NH-2 joins the area to Rewa through Ghoorpur. Educational institutes like Saraswati BAL Mandir Inter College, Maharshi Vidya Mandir School and BAL Shiksha Nikatan International College are located in the vicinity. Prominent hospitals such as Jahangir Memorial Charitable Hospital and The Leprosy Mission Hospital are present here. Apart from this, Naini is blessed with peaceful surroundings, another main reason for the people to settle here. The presence of basic establishments thus make this area as the most preferred residential destination. Read More
