Shirgaon doesn’t have any metro connectivity which makes road transport the only option
The roads are not well planned and hence it is hard for large vehicles to enter small streets

The locality is quite safe however there are no clubs or pubs in the area
The inner streets lights are not all well maintained which leads to darkness in the alley
There have been reports of some 2 wheeler thefts from the locality
There are no drinking water options available in the parks which makes it hard on the kids
Sometimes during monsoon season, the drainage overflows into streets causing bad odor
If there is load shedding the residents are given prior notice by 1 - 2 days
Since the IT companies are a bit far from Shirgaon the property price is increasing a bit slow
Only industrial companies are present in this locality and no IT companies are available
Rental rates are increasing at a steady pace however as compared to other localities of Pune it is slow
