Nashik, also known as mini Maharashtra is the third largest district in Maharashtra. The Western Ghats or Sahyadri Range stretches from North to south across the western portion of the district with lush mountainous terrain offers an excellent scenic beauty. The city covers almost 259.13 km sq. and people here experience a relatively mild version of a tropical wet and dry climate.
