A BIT ABOUT NEELKANTH | SINCE 1938
Established in 1938 as “Velji Harkha Patel & Sons”, Neelkanth boasts a rich legacy, marked by award winning projects like the Karachi airport runway, and the Karachi club constructed in the year 1942.
Founder Velji Harkha Patel, resilient in the face of partition challenges, successfully relocated to India and forged ahead with unwavering determination. His hard work and trustworthiness fostered numerous collaborations and successes, notably pioneering the “Ownership-housing” concept in real estate with Shri Ishwardas Bhatia, challenging the then prevailing “Pagdi” system.
The organization, rebranded as Neelkanth Group in 2000, has left an indelible mark on the Mumbai Real Estate Industry with landmark projects like the Tardeo AC Market, Tilak Nagar Housing Colony, the not-for-profit TB relief Sarvoday Hospital, the first gated-community Neelkanth Valley, BKC’s first private commercial building Fortune 2000, the recent award winning MHADA redevelopment project Neelkanth Regent and many more.
Having constructed 17 buildings for the Housing Board at Thane in the year 1966, the group re-entered Thane city again in 2000s with the conceptualisation and delivery of multiple lifestyle projects. Having completely exited those projects, the Group has now launched the last phase at Neelkanth Greens, Manpada, i.e. Magnolias and Neelkanth Business Bay.
Neelkaanth, now a 4th generation developer, under the active leadership of Mohanbhai Patel and his subsequent two generations, has delivered over 600 projects spanning 23 million+ sq ft, and housed more than 23,000 Families.
The group continues to fortify its values of quality construction, efficient planning, service excellence, and transparency in business.
