Good things here
It is a friendly, down to earth and loving society. I grew up here after my father brought the flat and enjoyed every minute of it. DPS Ruby Park is 15-20 mins from bus, the bus stop (Dhalai Bridge) is walking distance where buses will take you to all corners of Kolkata, the bus stand is under the Shahid Khudiram metro station, the taxi stands are walking distance from the flat, there are autos to Garia market & Garia station where you get everything, major clinics are nearby, Ruby Genral Hospital is a big hospital which is 15 mins by bus/car. All major festivals like Durga Puja, Holi etc, along with Independence day & Republic day are celebrated here. The swimming pool is extremely well maintained. The neighbors are helpful and friendly as they have been there since I left. All in all, it is a great society for any age group, from kids to senior citizens.
Things need improvement
The Gym was a little outdated: some equipment can be replaced. The park is a little small for teen kinds to play.
