Gondal is a city with a population of approximately 115,000 people. It is also a leading municipality which has 175,000 people approximately in terms of its available population. It is located in the State of Gujarat and was once a princely State within the Kathiawar Agency (of which there were eight in total). It was once ruled by the Jadeja Kings with the capital at Gondal town. The entire district is Rajkot today. The total area covered by the city is 74.48 square kilometers.
