Dronagiri is located in the southern portion of Navi Mumbai and is a residential locality in Maharashtra. The locality is surrounded by the Uran town, Karanja River, and Jawaharlal Nehru Port. Many tourists from across the country visit this small village as it is famous for trekking. The locality is also called Dunagri. It covers 12.5 sq km square kilometres with pleasant weather. Dronagiri has an estimated population of 8500 with coordinates of 18.859671°N 72.936687°E. Agri is a dialect of Marathi which is widely spoken here.

Dronagiri is served by the NMMC or the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra or the CIDCO. Popular places include Hemkund, Nanda Devi, Chenab Lake, Hathi Parbat, Changabang, Sunanda Devi, etc. Uran (4.48 km) and Sarde (13.61 km) lie near Dronagiri. Major roads include the Arterial road and NH 4B among others. The Navi Mumbai International Airport is the nearest to Dronagiri which caters to residents. Railway lines include Central Line. The Metro Tulsi Anmol is a well-designed metro station positioned in Dronagiri. Reputed educational institutions include the Rotary English Medium High School & Junior College and Dronagiri High School etc. Leading mall-like Glomax is accompanied by reputed hospitals like CarePoint Hospital, Dr Tanejas CarePoint Hospital and Dr Nakhwa Hospital. Major employment hubs include the CBD Belapur, Mahape, Vashi, and Nerul numerous business parks. Companies like Prajapati Group, Dronagiri Infotech Pvt. Ltd. and others have a presence here.
