Ulhasnagar is a city in Thane, Maharashtra, India and is a part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. It is a residential and industrial area, spreading over 28 sq. km. Before the partition, this area used to be a military transit camp. The climate here is tropical, dry and wet, with not many temperature changes throughout the year in the coastal areas.
