Overall, the society is fantastic. We're lucky to have a metro station nearby, and with schools and hospitals within easy reach, connectivity is superb. While the maintenance services in the society are generally good, I do think there's room for improvement in issue resolution. Sometimes, when there's a problem like a malfunctioning lift, the solution isn't provided as promptly as I'd hope. In my opinion, any issue should be resolved as quickly as possible to ensure the smooth functioning of our community. read more

Good things here

It has easy access to the metro, buses, taxis, trains, and cars. The connectivity is great. With routine cleaning and trash collection, the upkeep is properly handled. The structures have adequate ventilation, natural light, and are well-built with no seepage problems. Kids play area, fitness center, clubs, security, and a small park are among the facilities. Additionally, the second floor has a concrete space where children can play or stroll. Mostly made up of individuals in the corporate world, the neighborhood is decent. read more

Things need improvement

There is just one internet provider in the neighborhood, which restricts the alternatives for locals who might prefer Jio or Airtel. The park is very tiny, so it might not be enough for families with small children, and there is no garden or swimming area. read more

Good things here

Zen Hospital is just a quick 5-minute drive from the society, and the metro station is also conveniently located within the same distance. Additionally, Chembur railway station is nearby, making connectivity a breeze. The society's facilities like the lifts and CCTV are in top-notch condition, ensuring safety and security for all residents. Plus, cleanliness and hygiene standards are well-maintained, with garbage collection happening on time. Living on the 5th floor, I haven't experienced any seepage issues in my apartment, which is a relief. It's great to have a balcony and amenities like a gym and swimming pool right here in the society. And last but not least, the people in the society are friendly and cooperative, making it a pleasant place to call home. read more

I'm not sure if the swimming pool is currently functional because there was some ongoing work when I last checked, and it was closed at that time. Additionally, there have been some internet connectivity issues because the society only relies on one internet provider. read more

Chembur is a suburb of Eastern Mumbai that changed from an industrial suburb to a residential hub over the years since Independence. Chembur is an old and fully developed suburban area located in the Eastern part of Mumbai at a distance of approximately 15km from the central part of the city. The name of this place is believed to have been derived from the Marathi word 'Chimboree' meaning large crab. Chembur was originally on the north-western corner of Trombay Island before the land reclamation project took place. The railway line for Chembur was first opened to passengers in 1924 and was made part of Greater Bombay in 1945. This place also has a history of having hosted refugees after independence and following partition. The growth and gradual development of residential areas occurred after the industrialisation of Trombay during war. Chembur eventually transformed from an industrial suburb to primarily a residential area after the construction of the Township Colony, Shell Colony and Station Colony undertaken by the Bombay Housing Board. Today Chembur is home to many more such colonies like BPCL, Tata Colony, Pestom, Indian Oil Nagar, HPCL, Chedda Nagar, Tilak Nagar etc. One can also find several independent houses in Chembur in combination with modern high rises and plenty of open spaces – something that is so difficult to find in Mumbai.One of the many notable landmarks and one of the biggest green cover areas for this locality is the Bombay Presidency Golf Club. Numerous well-developed suburbs can be seen nearby Chembur locality which includes Kurla, Deonar, Chunabhatti and Ghatkopar.
