Maradu is a fast growing locality in the Vyttila Taluk in Ernakulam District of the Kerala state. It belongs to Central Kerala Division. It is located few kilometers towards East from District headquarters Kakkanad. Kochi, Palluruthy, Kumbalam, Kumbalangy, Mulavukad are the nearby suburbs to Maradu. The locale is surrounded by Kochi Taluk & Palluruthy Taluk towards West, Edappally Taluk towards North and Mulanthuruthy Taluk towards East. Kochi, Aroor, Vaikom, Cherthala are the nearby cities to Maradu. Major roads passing through this region are the NH- 47A and the Ettumanoor-Ernakulam Road. Tirunettur Railway Station and Eranakulam Junction Railway Station are the nearby stations to Maradu. Vikas Nagar is an great society without any problems and well planned layouts. This is also located very close to Forum Mall Kochi.
