The schools near our society are conveniently located for me. Our neighbors are extremely friendly, fostering a strong sense of community, and we celebrate every festival together like a family. Garbage collection in the society is efficiently carried out daily. The maintenance charges are reasonable, around 3000 rupees. Furthermore, cabs and autos are readily available on the main road within walking distance, providing convenient transportation options for residents. read more

Things need improvement

The maintenance of the lift in the society is consistently poor, with frequent breakdowns requiring repairs. This becomes particularly inconvenient when the lift stops working, especially when children are present. Moreover, repairs often take 4-5 days to resolve, causing additional inconvenience for residents. Furthermore, the construction quality in the society is subpar, as evidenced by visible cracks in the walls. read more

The lift remains out of service due to flooding. Amenities such as the swimming pool, clubhouse, and gym have also been damaged by the floods. The water facility in the society has been compromised as a result of the flooding. Moreover, drainage cleaning in the society is only average, which worsens the overall situation. read more

The community within the society is excellent. Cabs from services like Ola or Uber are readily available when booked within the premises. Pollution is non-existent in the vicinity. The construction quality exceeds that of phase-1. Water facilities are satisfactory, and a reliable power backup system is in place. The residents are very friendly, cooperative, and predominantly well-educated. read more

Phase-1 lacks amenities such as a swimming pool and clubhouse, which are available in phase-2. The maintenance charges in the society are high, amounting to around 5000 rupees. There is significant traffic congestion during evening hours. read more

The lack of connectivity such as cabs and autos is inconvenient for residents. Amenities are available but only temporarily in the society. The construction quality is very poor, and the roads are in bad condition. Additionally, there is no gas connection wire in the kitchen, and the water facility is inadequate, requiring water to be brought in by lorries, which makes daily water usage difficult. read more

Perumbakkam is a suburb in the Chengalpattu District of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is the home of several IT companies and is surrounded by residential developments; however, the locality enjoys nature's scenic beauty. The estimated area of the locality is 5.88 sq. km and has a population of 21,157. Perumbakkam has a tropical wet and dry climate with not much variation in seasonal temperature. The coordinates of the area are 12.9053°N and 80.1986°E. Tamil and English are mostly spoken here. Infrastructure and Details The Greater Chennai Corporation governs Perumbakkam. The popular areas of the locality are Nanmangalam Reserve Forest, Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Marina Beach, etc. Sithalapakkam (2.31 km), Medavakkam (3.58 km), and Nanmangalam (6.41 km) are some of the nearby localities of Perumbakkam. The suburb is well connected by the Chennai MTC buses.
