Solapur is a city in southwestern Maharashtra and shares its border with Karnataka. It is at WikiMiniAtlas17.68°N 75.92°E and shares borders with Osmanabad on the northeast and north and Ahmednagar on its north. Also, it has Kalaburagi district towards the southeast, Bijapur Districts in the south of Karnataka, and Sangli district in its south and southwest.
