Siwan is a district in Bihar and has been part of the Saran Division ever since 1972. With coordinates of 26.2243° N and 84.3600° E, this district is rather famous for its high literacy rate of 69.45%. This is the 24th state in Bihar, and you will people here speak Hindi, Urdu, and even Bhojpuri.

However, you can reach here from the nearest airport at Patna, the Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Airport, which is about 100 kms away. If you want to reach Siwan via railway, you will have to get off at the Muzaffarpur Junction, which is the nearest railway junction at a distance of 100 km.
