Thiruvalla or Tiruvalla is a leading town in the Indian State of Kerala and is also the headquarters to the Thiruvalla Taluk in the District of Pathanamthitta. The town covers 27.15 square kilometres in all, positioned on the banks of the Pamba and Manimala Rivers. It is encircled by several rivers and streams and is also called the Land of Non Resident Indians, known for its commercial and economic activity. It is famous for Kathakali dancing traditions and landmarks like the Sreevallabha Temple and Nedumpuram Palace and more. The population of Thiruvalla stands at 52,883 people as of the year 2011.
