Saharanpur, is the city and municipal corporation in Uttar Pradesh. The city was given its name after Saint Shah Haroon Chisti. Saharanpur is spread over an area of 46.74 sq km with coordinates of 29.97°N 77.55°E. The climate of Saharanpur is warm and temperate. The summers here have a good deal of rainfall while the winters have very little. The total population of Saharanpur is 705,478 out of which 371,740 are males and females are 333,738.
